About Us

Kavasaa Biotech is a medical biotechnology-driven innovation company developing next-generation wound care materials, including thermoresponsive bioactive hydrogels for diabetic foot ulcers and chronic wounds.

Our solutions integrate biomaterials science with traditional knowledge–based herbal therapeutics to develop advanced wound-care materials. By incorporating natural antimicrobials to address AMR and promoting regenerative wound-healing mechanisms, we aim to bridge India’s clinical wound-care needs with sustainable, affordable, and scientifically validated biomaterial technologies.

Vision

To advance affordable, sustainable, and next-generation wound care solutions through innovation in medical nano-biotechnology and skill-driven research.

Mission

To develop biocompatible, bioactive hydrogel wound dressings that combine biotechnology, biomaterials, nanotechnology, and traditional knowledge, while fostering biotech training and translational research for impactful outcomes.

Our Technology / Our R&D Journey

Thermoresponsive Bioactive Hydrogel Platform

A smart hydrogel system that remains liquid at room temperature and forms a gel at body temperature, ensuring superior coverage, comfort, and controlled release of therapeutic compounds.

Development Status

Our thermoresponsive bioactive hydrogel wound dressing is currently in the research and development (R&D) stage and is not yet available for clinical or commercial use. We are presently working on laboratory-scale formulation, characterization, and antimicrobial evaluations, along with integration of Traditional Knowledge–based herbal bioactives and thermoresponsive polymers. As the technology matures, we plan to move through preclinical evaluation, regulatory compliance, and clinical validation in alignment with CDSCO, ISO 13485, and good medical device development practices.
